Newborn Studio Or In The Home

A newborn session with me isn't just about snapping pics; it's a collaborative, personalised experience. We'll plan together, choose outfits from my client wardrobe, and maybe even include some sentimental items. Your family's story unfolds in my clean and classic style. Plus, during the session, expect a little treat – chocolates, sweets, and all the fluids you need!

My approach to newborn photography is relaxed and baby lead. All of my poses are as I like to call it ‘relaxed posed approach’, I work with your baby to get the best natural photographs possible during your time with me. They are in charge, if they want cuddles or a feed that is what they get.

I cover newborn photography in Yorkshire, so we can do your session in the comfort of your home, or at my newborn photography studio in Menston.

Recommended for newborns up to 4 weeks.

Cake or Fake Smash

Turning one, two, three (or more!) is a huge deal - mainly for us as parents, so capturing those milestone moments is both exciting and important. Captured at my home studio, cake smash photography in Menston.

I allow 1 hour for this session and it is split into three parts...

Cake Smash

Part One - Is a settling in portrait session so you can bring them in a special outfit.

Part Two - Is the cake smash. Let's switch up the outfit and get messy! Cakes must be brought in.

Part Three- It's splash time- I love to finish this session off with plenty of bubbles and splashing. The perfect chance to clean up baby and get some extra cute shots!

Fake Smash

Part One- It's the portraits , ONE prop letter and lots of balloons. So bring that special outfit. There is also the chance for you to also jump in on a few portraits!

Part Two- It's time to pose with a Fake Cake!

Part Three- It's the bathtub with no water and lots of bubbles! There really is no mess.

These sessions are preferably done at least 2-3 weeks prior to your child's birthday. This allows plenty of time to receive your portraits before their birthday!

Family Studio or Outdoor

A family photoshoot with me is relaxed, natural, fun and honest. Yes we all want those posed natural photos but I have the skills to provide subtle hints to get those exact images you want. You can cosy up in my studio for a relaxed session or if it's the outdoors that you love then let's get out! I love to go on adventures with you and your team. Think of me as a friend with a camera coming along with you on a walk. That's exactly it. I will always get stuck in with your children providing all the entertainment and games along the way to capture the funnest most authentic images. I have a handful of location ideas which are semi-private but I also love to hear you ideas. Perhaps you have a special location in mind. I'm there!

Welcome to Motherhood. My maternity photoshoots are super relaxed, fun and natural. There will be no awkward posing. However I will help to position you to show your bump off in the best way!
